A message from Sherry…….

During our lives and especially living on the spiritual fast track, it can get overwhelming sometimes to sense so many choices and not know what direction to go. Being so afraid to make a mistake or a wrong choice. It is easy to get stuck in the clouds and I have lived it myself and seen it with many. Almost paralyzed by the abundance of choices. Sensing so many possibilities and the overwhelming fear of making a mistake. Who would ever imagine that having so many wonderful options available to us would turn out to be overwhelming and stressful? It shouldn’t be, we just make it that way. Our minds are like obsessive nuisances some times. Sometimes we just have to shut it down. Having all these wonderful options and infinite possibilities are really gifts from the heavens.

Over the past few months, I realized that we just have to step out on the ledge, have some faith and make a decision and stick with it. I am guessing that casting department in the heavens isn’t going to hand us a full script even though we all would like that. There are no wrong or right choices really for growth and experience will always be the outcome. If we fall on our butts – oh well……. we will stand up, brush off and then step to the ledge once more, next step and move on. Overcoming the fear of making bad choices or making mistakes has probably paralyzed many and I certainly have lived my share. I am guessing many people feel the same way and at times feel “stuck”. Yet the inactivity itself, I believe, is more paralyzing and detrimental to our growth then taking a chance and perhaps making a bad choice? We may be surprised at how many good choices come from it.

I can’t tell you how good it feels to finally get to this point and realize that taking a chance and a leap of faith and stepping out, and yes possibly making a mistake too, can actually feel better than not making any choices at all and staying stagnate and stuck. I believe the people behind Nike really knew something when they said “JUST DO IT”. Great motto for 2009.

So set yourself free, take some chances, make some decisions and become free from the ultimate paralyzer “fear”……… and refuse to remain stuck or stagnate from indecision………….. take a leap of faith……. and JUST DO IT!
