Break away from the pack
People are conditioned from birth to follow in the footsteps of the people around them. How people handle themselves and situations on a daily basis are classified as “normal” or “not normal”. Most people think that this is what everyone else is doing so I might as well go with the flow and join in. When someone breaks away from the pack they are usually viewed as “rebels” or “radical”. Then as time passes these same rebels are viewed as “visionaries” and “pioneers”. People are so caught up in the fear of change that when something new is presented to them they huddle around in a pack, like penguins to stay warm. Our environment and economy is in the state that it is in because everyone followed the pack. Very few leave the security of the pack and take it upon themselves to break new ground. Everyone else is staying warm in the pack so why should I go out into the cold and experience the unknown?”

Yes, my statements may seem a little harsh and some people may say that I don’t give people enough credit. Usually the people that say these things are so consumed by the ego, they know no different. Everyone is so used to having their hand held and babied. People are used to getting what they want, when they want, anything out of the ordinary thows them off track. It’s now time for a wake up call!

As I have mentioned in previous posts the ego is the self defense mechanism that creates fear. In order to see fear for what it truly is you have to step out of it. This means stepping out of the ego. For the people in the pack that are waiting for the rest of the crowd before moving forward. It is time to break away. Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing. Follow your heart, focus on love not fear, and take control!

You will not truly be able to understand something if you have fear of it.

The opposite of love is fear and the opposite of fear is love. The two can not exist within the same space. Love yourself and everything and everyone around you without conditions. Don’t just say it, feel it and “do it!” Every day, every hour, in every situation, with everything. Love this present moment in time. Don’t look forward to the future to be better than right now. Make it better now, don’t wait. This will change the future.

It’s time to awaken to the “real world” and realize that we are spiritual beings living in the human body! Spirituality is not some part time thing you do on Sundays, it is who we are. Don’t rely on someone else’s view or belief to show you the way. Believe in yourself and love. Experience it yourself! If fear is involved, break away and follow your heart!

Love and healing energy to all that are open to receive,
Joe Weaver
